hales ford area
caught 6 largemouth bass ranging from a little over 4 down toa little better than two . had between 17 and 18 lbs
topwater early , switched to carolina rig after sun came up hot
top early deep rock later 10 ft or more
not too bad a day for all the traffic that was on the lake , had one more heavy fish that came unbuttoned on carolina rig in about 15 ft of water at end of dock . rod bowed double when he ran at boat but just popped loose

fishing was fantastic today .Had one fish that made a citation, had one over 5 and we quit counting at around 11 am with ten . all but two were 14 plus and most were 2.5 lbs. or better.
