Place Fished: = Sandy River
Date Fished: = 9/19/04
Time Fished: = 7:30 am- 4:30 pm
Weather Conditions: = cool, windy
Water Conditions: = murky
Water Temp.: = 74 degrees
Locations Fished: = man made, main lake structures, timber, dam, bridge rip-rap
Types of fish caught and sizes: = 40+ bass up to 3.5 lbs, mostly small
Types of lures/bait: = started with wacky worm and senko on main lake but it was too windy to fish properly, so we moved to the timber behind the bridge and fished it with spinnerbait and tx. rigged 6" zoom worm
Method/Presentation: = bumped every piece of cover possible with 1/4 oz spinnerbait and they ate it up
Depths fished: = mostly 7 feet or less

Additional Comments: = once the water warmed up in the afternoon, the bass went crazy biting the spinnerbait.  it seemed like the wind on the lake really made the fish active during the afternoon

Place Fished: = Sandy River Reservoir
Date Fished: = 9/11/04
Time Fished: = 8:30-6:00
Weather Conditions: = Partly cloudy 80 degrees
Water Conditions: = Clarity 2'
Locations Fished: = past 1/2 way uplake on channel drops and on man-made drops.
Types of fish caught and sizes: = All bass were under 14 inches except two just over. I caught 55 bass and one catfish, my friend caught 52 bass.
Types of lures/bait: = Zoom finesse worm
Blakemore Roadrunner
Norman Crappie Crankbait
Method/Presentation: = Finesse-wacky style
Roadrunner-1/16 oz.with 2" curlytail trailer
Crankbait with red trebles
Depths fished: = 1-10'

Additional Comments: = Was suprised that hurricane Francis did not muddy up the water or raise the level much. We concentrated on the most verticle structure close the the creek channels and on the channel edges too for most of the day. Then we went to the shallow spawning areas with grass and dollar pads and had the best success with the wacky rig.
