The water level is about 8" lower than last week. I was told that the lake is closing on October 13th for the Winter. The time to be off the property has been moved up 1/2 hour to 7:00 PM 5 other boats throughout the day.

Around 4:30 I caught a 5-4 bass and the next cast I caught the 5-8, the next cast I hung another good one and it got hung up in a submerged bush and broke off. 4 other boats out today. There is an ole saying, "wind from the East, the fish bite the least" I guess the East wind had them turned off today, LOL

Took a kid fishing. He caught 20 sunfish, 2 bass and a crappie in one hour. Catching has got to be good like this to keep kids intersted. I spent my time baiting hooks and throwing back fish. I threw a beetle spin a dozen times but nothing.
