jig and trailer slow drag. Spinnerbait slow rolled
Tough day, water seemed way up was muddy with a good ammount of debris. Did not think we had that much rain the other day. Only fish I saw all day were on the spinnerbait. Had a few short strikes before I finally boated the dink. Probably could have caught more if could have used a trailer hook but so much garbage in the water made that undoable.

Pye Alley, old river channel
(2) striper, 5 - 7 Lbs
Super Fluke
1-2'
Threw into where the birds were diving as a school passed by, and just light twitches of the rod tip.
Had a few pick ups while bass fishing with jig n' pig on channel points, but I haven't yet mastered the finesse style of fishing. I saw the birds diving and heading straight toward me as I was packing up, so I threw the fluke for the heck of it. The two Stripers were caught on consecutive casts. Made one more cast, and left for the day. I talked to two retired gents at the ramp while loading up, they had about 25 cats under 5 lbs.

mostly sunny, some showers
pretty clear, outgoing tide the whole time
Osborne landing to the spray pits and all along in between
Catfished. Surprisingly, couldnt buy a bite.
Fresh shad and perch.
deep to shallow
Well it was a pretty day on the river. Very nice sunset but I couldnt get a bit to save my life. Very unusual for this time of year. Even ran all the way up to the spray pits in the warm water. Lots of fish jumping up there but not catfish. It still beats sitting at home. Bill
