Good day for me, 3rd cast a HUGE bass ate my favorite spinner, she liked it so much, she kept it. I managed 2 smaller ones on the c-rig in the same area. As the storm started approaching, I worked my way back to Hopewell hitting some points that I have never touched, and wham, an easy 4 lb LMB took the buzz bait. I hit one more spot after that, but the wind was getting pretty strong, got 2 backlashes in a row and called it quits.

Well I had been painting the house all day and couldnt resist getting out the boat for an hour or so. Wanted to try out the new catfish bait my son got me for my birthday. Only fished for about 30 minutes. Only had two strikes, couldnt set the hook on anything though. The sausage links dont stay on the hook so good though. Went thru a half a bag in 30 minutes. If Im gonna use a stink bait, I will probably use the catfish dynamite dip bait on a huckleberry treble. Have had better luck with that. Still nice to get out on the river in the early evening. Bill

Tought day for me again. Pitched a zero in a Club T. Was on fish in the morning for about an hour and a half as the outgoing tide was finishing up. Broke something like 4 or 5 off on the wacky rigged finesse worm. Also missed several on that rig and on the jig. Then my bite died. Had no more hits until I made my desperation into Meades Pit just before going to weigh in at Osbourne. Had two pick up jigs there that i pitched into the hearts of bushes but could not bury the hook. I hate zeroing..............

Not a bad day by my standards. They are just barely starting to move back out to the main river. Was helping a buddy pre-fish for an upcoming tourney. While we didn't do great, we were able to eliminate a lot of water for him.
