Took my step-son fishing in the morning, caught about 50 total bream. He is only with us for a couple weeks this Summer, so I figured I had to put him on some fish. Heavy boat traffic on the River yesterday - even for a Sunday.

Fished with Rich K. today. Thought we would kill them had the outgoing tide the entire time we were out and it was a full moon tide. Caught all of our fish in Appomattox. I was fishing a Chartreues Buzzbaits along flats where i saw baitfish activity and caught 4, 3 small ones and one around 2#. Rich caught 2 throwing the c-rigged worm around cover.

Me and the wife took the day off work to "have a date" (first date in 5 yrs). She sunbathed and I fished. I finally got her to try fishing, and after only a few small backlashes, she landed her first ever fish. A nice 3 - 4 lb LMB on the c-rig. Afterwards, we took the kids out for some fishing, and they did well too with about 30 bream.
