Was my first time out this season....and threw a shiner and within 10 minutes had a huge catfish on the line. Pegged out my 20 pound scale, so we figured he was in the 25-30 class. Also caught a small largemouth and one other 2.5lb catfish. All released back to fight again another day. Was cold and windy....but the boat ran and we caught the one huge fish...so it was a good day!

Caught 2 bass (biggest maybe 1.5 lbs), a bowfin, and a 14" crappie.....I started out throwing a white trick worm, followed that with a spinnerbait, followed by a white rooster tail. Caught all fish on the rooster tail....LOTS of boats out on the water today. I marked water ranging from 65 in the morning to 70 degrees in the afternoon. Saw a bass tournament weigh in, all boats had fish....I think someone had 17lbs of fish.
