Additional Comments: = Started the day fishing buzzbaits.  Had four small ones hook up but throw the bait.  Once it got light I moved to some of my deeper water, 14 foot, spots.  Caught a 2.5 and 2 pounder on jigs.  Then moved farther up into the south end.  Caught two more 2.5 fish on the Jig.  That bite died off so switched to a big worm.  Had a few hits and caught two fish fairly quickly.  Color was red shad.  My luck was that I had a limited supply of them.  When I ran out tried switching colors but just was not getting bitten anymore.  To top that off I broke one fo my best rods on a snag.  After that decided to call it quits.

Additional Comments: = Not a bad day for this time of year.  Caught a 3 1/2 on the buzzbait real early.  fished that for the first two hours then switched to the Jig when I got to one of my deeper water spots.  Caught another 3 1/2 on that and also a nice 3 pounder.  That bite died so swithced to a Senko fished in heavy trees.  No takers on that so went to what has been my bread and butter a big curly tail worm.  Fished that for the rest of the day , caught six on it.  Missed quite a few more.  Got to learn to give them a lot of time to get that big worm down before trying to swing the rod on em.
