Huge Shellcrackers/Bigger Bream, (2) LMB over 5lbs.
Floated live Crickets / LMB on Yum Dingers fished weightless.

Pulled crickets slowly through new topwater vegetation growth. Fished Yum Dingers weightless on edge of dropoff!
Started culling around 11:00! The shellcrackers were smaller then years passed but, the bream were tremendous! They were located just on the outside edge of the vegetation growth!

Blue skies-upper 70's - WINDY!
Stained, lots of pollen, water temp in the 60's
Off 701 ramp midlake to south end
11 Bass, largest little over 4lbs. Rest were 1-3lbs Lost 3 in the trees.
Mostly wacky rigged finesse/trick worms. Caught the big one on a jig-n-pig though.
3-15ft
Beautiful day for fishing but the wind was mean! I didn't even need my trolling motor to make it to the south end, I just started out on the sunny side and let the wind blow me down there, lol. A few times I tied off on a tree in the middle and fished a while.

First good day on Briery this year. Fished on flats and basically anything we threw caught fish. Caught at least 50 - 60 fish combined with my buddie, probably more, honestly lost count because at one time we were on a school taking top waters and the action was so fast and furious. Largest fish landed was in the 4 - 5 pound range, but we did hook several bigger fish and my buddy lost one that looked like around 10 - 11 pounds right next to the boat, line snapped. Needless to say he was heart broken.

1-66 degrees, slight stain
South end and mid lake-shallow

The ole wacky rigged finesse technique pulled them off spawning beds. I just had to allow for the wind get the unweighted worm in the beds.
Caught several in the 5-6 pound class and the rest were 1 1/2 to 3 pounds mostly males. The larger ones had worn/bloody tails.
